The instruction to get the Cisco VT camera II to work with Windows 7 (x64):

  1. get this file from logitech. download qc1051enu_x64.exe and run it,
  2. when error windows open that state that the software is not compatible, copy C:\Program Files (x86)\Logitech to C:\Logitech,
  3. edit C:\Logitech\QuickCamWebInstall\Drivers\x64\PRO364\IPRO364V.inf and replace all 08CE with 08C7 and save the file,
  4. open computer manager (right click on My computer -> manage -> device manager) and update drive on unidentified device by pointing it to C:\Logitech,
  5. do not update drivers from internet when asked.

Download the driver for the Webcam Pro 9000, and you will be able to get your Cisco VT Camera II working on computers running Windows 7 or 8.1. It is as simple as installing the driver from http://www.logitech.com/en-us/support/3056?osid=14&bit=64 , then going into device manager ► Update Driver Software ► Browse… ► Let Me Pick From a List ► Imaging Devices ► Logitech ►Logitech Webcam Pro 9000.

You really make it seem so easy with your presentation but I find this topic to be really something which I think I would never understand. It seems too complicated and extremely broad for me. I’m looking forward for your next post, I’ll try to get the hang of it! ebcbddedekkf
